A new company, built on years in the trade
A yacht is a small city afloat. Climate, cold storage, and power run through every deck, and each system leans on the others. Most trades come aboard to work on something else; we come aboard for the systems themselves. Steadfast Marine Systems exists because vessels of 52 to 200 feet deserve specialists who do nothing else.
We are owner-operated and intend to stay that way. Jennifer Barragan owns the company. Jose Barragan manages it and stands behind every job. For you, that means the person who answers is the person responsible, decisions come quickly, and the standard does not change with whoever is on the schedule. Captains and engineers deal with one accountable point of contact from first call to sign-off.
The standard is fixed. Refrigerant work is performed under EPA Section 608 certification. Diagnostics are methodical and findings are documented, so your engineer holds a clear record of each system’s condition. Work aboard private vessels stays private; we name no clients and no vessels. That standard has held aboard a $235M new-build superyacht, across multiple decks and its elevator systems, and it holds just the same at a 52-foot slip on Lake Union.

Steadfast Marine Systems is EPA Section 608 certified for refrigerant handling. Recovery, charging, and leak repair on marine air conditioning and refrigeration systems are performed to that federal standard, and every job is documented.
We serve Seattle’s marinas dockside: Lake Union, Westlake, Eastlake, Elliott Bay, and Shilshole Bay. We are expanding across Puget Sound, toward Tacoma, Gig Harbor, Poulsbo, and Bremerton.
