When a system fails, start with a call
A failed chiller, a warming freezer, a dark panel: none of them keep business hours. Call, and triage starts on the phone before a technician is dispatched to your slip.

Steadfast Marine Systems provides emergency and after-hours response for failed air conditioning, refrigeration, and electrical systems aboard yachts at Seattle marinas, including Lake Union, Westlake, Eastlake, Elliott Bay, and Shilshole Bay. Triage begins on the phone; a technician is then dispatched to the vessel’s slip to stabilize the system, with permanent repair to follow.
What we respond to
Failed climate systems
A chilled-water plant or cabin unit down in the wrong week. We restore cooling where possible and stabilize the vessel until parts arrive.
Warming boxes and freezers
When a freezer drifts, provisions are on a clock. We respond, stop the loss, and set the permanent repair in motion.
Shore power loss
A vessel on batteries at the dock is a problem that compounds. We trace the failure between pedestal and panel and restore power safely.
Dead circuits and faults
Panels, breakers, and circuits that quit without warning. We make the vessel electrically safe first, then trace the fault.
Inverter and charger failures
When the charger stops, the house bank starts draining toward flat. We stabilize power aboard and get charging restored.
Seawater cooling loss
One failed pump can take climate and refrigeration down together. We restore flow and check the rest of the loop while we are aboard.
- Triage starts on the phone: give us the system, the symptom, and what you have already checked, and we dispatch with the right parts.
- First priority aboard is stabilization: protect provisions, restore essential loads, keep the vessel safe at the dock.
- Every emergency visit produces a written record of what failed, what was done, and what the permanent repair requires.
- We work cleanly aboard crewed vessels and report directly to the captain or engineer; what happens aboard stays private.
Measured. Documented. Stood behind.
Call and triage
Call (253) 000-0008 and describe what failed. We assess severity on the phone and dispatch with the likely parts and tools in hand.
Dispatch and stabilize
A technician comes to the vessel’s slip and stabilizes the system: cooling restored, provisions protected, power made safe. The first visit exists to stop the loss.
Permanent repair follow-up
Once the vessel is stable, we return with parts and complete the permanent repair. The emergency fix is never the last word.
Questions, answered
- What counts as an emergency?
- Failed climate systems, warming refrigeration or freezers, loss of shore power, or an electrical fault that puts the vessel at risk. If you are not sure, call anyway. Triage on the phone costs you nothing and settles the question quickly.
- Do you respond to the vessel’s slip after hours?
- Yes. Emergency and after-hours response is dockside, at the vessel’s slip, at Seattle marinas including Lake Union, Westlake, Eastlake, Elliott Bay, and Shilshole Bay. The vessel does not need to move.
- Which areas do you cover?
- Seattle marinas are our home ground: Lake Union, Westlake, Eastlake, Elliott Bay, and Shilshole Bay. We are expanding across Puget Sound toward Tacoma, Gig Harbor, Poulsbo, and Bremerton. If the vessel lies outside Seattle, call and we will confirm response.
- Will the first visit fix the problem for good?
- The first visit is about stabilizing: stopping the loss and making the vessel safe. Some failures are resolved on the spot; others need parts, and we return to complete the permanent repair. Either way, you receive a written record of what failed and what comes next.
A failed system does not improve overnight
Call (253) 000-0008. Tell us what failed, what you have checked, and where the vessel lies. Triage begins on the phone, and dispatch to your slip follows.
